Interview with our Clinical Naturopath – Chloe Rose Anastasio

3 min read

What made you decide to become a Naturopath?

From an early age, I knew I wanted a career in healthcare. However, after completing my
Bachelor of Health Science in Anatomy and Physiology, I struggled to find a path in
conventional medicine that truly resonated with me. Having grown up surrounded by natural
medicine and witnessing its impact firsthand, I realised that Naturopathy was the perfect way
to merge my love for biological science with my passion for holistic healing.

For those not familiar with Naturopathy can you describe what it is you do?

As a clinical naturopath, my role is to go beyond symptom management and uncover the
underlying root causes of health concerns. I take a holistic, evidence-based approach,
considering the interconnectedness of the body’s systems to restore balance and promote
optimal health. Through in-depth consultations and functional assessments, I work closely with my clients to
understand their health needs, and use a combination of evidence based herbal medicine,
nutritional and dietary guidance and lifestyle recommendations to create bespoke treatment
plans that address my patients health goals. Beyond treatment, my mission is to educate and empower my patients with the knowledge and tools they need to take charge of their health. By working in harmony with the body, I aim to provide long-term, sustainable solutions that support lasting results.

In Clinical practice is there any special area of interest you like to support clients to
manage?

While I enjoy treating a wide range of conditions, I have a particular interest in
gastrointestinal concerns, autoimmune disorders, metabolic dysfunction, male and female
reproductive and hormonal health.

What made you so passionate about supporting people in this area?

My passion lies in placing the naturopathic philosophy of Doctor as Teacher at the heart of
my clinical practice. I’ve seen firsthand how many individuals struggle to optimise their health
simply because they are not provided with sufficient information and support to make
informed choices. My mission is to bridge this gap by offering personalised education and
guidance, helping my patients understand their bodies and take an active role in their health
journey. I am committed to creating a space where every patient feels heard, supported, and
confident in their path to optimal health. By prioritising education and patient-centered care, I strive not only to address symptoms but also to inspire lasting, transformative change in my patients’ lives.

What are your personal interests outside of the clinic?

Outside the clinic, you’ll find me enjoying a coffee at a local café, exploring Melbourne’s food
scene (I’m a big foodie!), reading many many books, and shopping at local farmers’ markets.
