Chantal is a warm and experienced Myotherapist who has been practicing since 2016. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy from the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy and is a member of the Myotherapy Association Australia (MA).
She believes great health should be approached holistically and she strives to provide her clients with effective treatment outcomes. Chantal also looks to preventative management and advocates for empowering her clients with the knowledge and skills to take control of their own health and wellbeing.
Chantal will draw on a variety of different techniques to assist in treating musculoskeletal conditions such as deep tissue, myofascial release, dry needling, trigger point release, cupping, mobilisation, electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), exercise prescription, reiki and breathing exercises to assist in nervous system regulation and muscle relaxation.
She is also passionate about the body/brain relationship and how emotions are stored in the body tissues and they may show up as pain and dis-ease. When people are holding their emotions physically, constant muscle tension ultimately leads to spasms, back pain, migraine headache, fibromyalgia and other forms of chronic pain. Her experience as a practitioner has shown her that pain is but a symptom of a deeper underlying issue and her aim is to assist people in uncovering the physical or emotional cause of their pain.
