Sonia Millett

Sonia Millett is an experienced, caring and dedicated practitioner who is committed to achieving the best clinical results possible for every patient.  She is an acupuncturist and Chinese (TCM) herbalist with a focus on working with couples with fertility concerns, during IVF and throughout pregnancy.

In particular, Sonia has extensive experience supporting patients undergoing IVF/ART, including as manager of a dedicated TCM IVF support clinic.  She especially enjoys treating patients at every stage of their pregnancy from first trimester through to helping prepare for a safe and efficient labour, and then post-partum care. Sonia has also treated many other health conditions including helping with pain management, auto-immune and digestive issues.

Sonia often collaborates with other health professionals and whenever possible her approach uses conventional medicine to inform her TCM diagnoses and treatments.  She is passionate about empowering her patients and enjoys providing lifestyle and dietary advice to complement treatments for improved patient outcomes.

As a mother of two, Sonia brings a wealth of maturity, empathy and first-hand experience.

Having graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine, Sonia completed her clinical internship at Shanghai’s Shu Guan hospital, and subsequently trained with several of Australia’s foremost Chinese Medicine Gynaecology/ Obstetrics experts and authors.

Sonia is a registered practitioner (CMBA/AHPRA) and a fellow of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).
